VergeTAB Warranty Terms

1. Warranty Duration

Standard Warranty: VergeTAB comes with a standard 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. Built-in battery comes with 6 month limited warranty and accessories such as charger and USB cable has a limited 3-month warranty.

Extended Warranty : Additional 2 years service warranty has been added with standard warranty. So VergeTAB comes with a total for 3 years service warranty (1+2) from the date of purchase.

2. What the Warranty Covers

Manufacturing Defects: The warranty covers issues arising from manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship. This includes malfunctions with the hardware, such as the screen, battery, and internal components or software.

Faulty Workmanship: Repairs or replacements for faulty components due to errors in assembly or production.

3. What the Warranty Does Not Cover (Exclusions)

Accidental and Physical Damage: This warranty does not cover any form of damage resulting from dust, foreign object, fire, water, fall, accident, misuse, abuse, input voltage fluctuation, mishandling, dismantling,lightning, flood or any act of natural calamity and use contrary to the operations specified in the User Manual supplied with the product.

Company shall not be liable or be deemed to be in default for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from causes beyond its reasonable control.

Other items: Other product-related materials such as safety protection case, screen guard,quick Start Guide and Warranty card are not covered in warranty replacement or repair. Battery warranty excluded from the extended warranty coverage. 

Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear, such as battery degradation over time, scratches, or cosmetic damage, is excluded.

Unauthorized Modifications: Damage caused by unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations, such as rooting the device, tampering the software, installing any other applications or using non-approved accessories, void the warranty. Warranty will be rejected If there are inconsistencies or changes to the details or specifications on the proof of purchase compared to the product labels.

Water Damage: Water, liquid or Moisture damage is not covered under warranty.

Lost or Stolen Devices: Warranty does not cover lost or stolen devices.

4. Conditions for Warranty Service

Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase is required to claim warranty service.

Company reserves the right to decline all warranty services, if the above documents are not presented or if the information contained therein is not complete.

Warranty Registration: The Tablet must be registered at https://vergetab.com/ logged in within 30 days of purchase to avail the warranty, unregistered devices does not cover the warranty. 

Transfer: The warranty cannot be transferred to any other device unless it is replaced by Verge Learning International Private Limited. 

Verge Learning International Private Limited has the right to change or modify the warranty terms and conditions at any time.  

Replace of Parts : All parts, components and accessories replaced during the warranty period belong to the authorized service center. The warranty shall thereafter continue only for the remaining period of the warranty.

If no claims are made under the Plan during the warranty period, the purchase price paid for the warranty is not refundable

5. Warranty Process

Repair or Replacement: Depending on the nature of the issue, the company may replace or repair the defective part/device

Shipping Costs: This warranty does not cover the cost of transportation of the  product from the place of the customer to the service centre.

It is the responsibility of the customer to deliver and to collect from the nearest service centre/dealer/Agent of verge tab

In the event of any difference or dispute arising with reference to the terms and conditions of the warranty or there interpretation, the same shall be referred to a sole arbitrator, who shall be appointed by the Company’s Directors. The decision of the sole arbitrator shall be final and binding on both the parties. Such arbitration proceedings shall be held at any court located in the County of Santa Clara in the State of California or of the State of California located in the County of Santa Clara (or any appeals courts thereof).

Refund Policy for “VergeTAB” 

Thank you for choosing VergeTAB for your therapeutical / educational needs. We work hard to offer our users high-quality services. In the event that you are not satisfied with your Vergetab, we have outlined our refund policy below. Please be aware that some exceptions may apply.

Seeker Subscription:

Refunds are applicable solely for the renewal of annual subscriptions, provided the request is made within 90 days of the subscription date. A deduction of Rs 3000/- will be applied as enrollment charges from the total refundable amount.

Therapy Session:

Fees for therapy sessions will be refunded only if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session time. No refund will be issued once the sessions have commenced. 

Rescheduling:

Therapy sessions can be rescheduled in case of any event preventing attendance at the scheduled session. Please contact our service team at your earliest convenience to schedule a new therapy session. Sessions will be rescheduled based on therapist availability.

VergeTAB device:

This device includes a 3-year platform subscription to maximize your benefits. Additionally, it comes with a total of 3 years of service warranty, consisting of a 1-year standard warranty and an additional 2-years of service warranty, starting from the date of purchase.

If the product is found to be dead on arrival (DOA), it must be returned within 10 days of purchase in its original condition, with all original accessories and packaging intact, to qualify for a replacement. Failure to comply with these conditions will result in the company declining any replacement requests.

The decision to issue a replacement of the device will be made solely at the company’s discretion.

Refund Request Process:

To request a refund, please contact us via email at support@vergetab.com. In your email, provide the following details:

Subject: Refund Request – [Your Full Name]

Transaction Details: [Include the transaction ID and date of purchase.]

Plan Type: [Specify whether you are on a Monthly or Annual plan.]

Reason for Refund: [Briefly explain the reason for your refund request.]

Refund Processing:

Refunds will be processed within 10 business days upon approval of the refund request. And refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during the transaction.

VergeTAB reserves the right to modify or amend this policy at any time without prior notice.

This refund policy applies solely to subscriptions purchased directly www.xceptionallearning.com, or those that come with the VergeTAB device. If you purchased a subscription through a third party, please refer to their refund policy.
